Questions
How do I check if something is a word?
Type the word and the checker says whether it is in the dictionary word games use, and whether it is a common, an everyday or a rare word.
Is it the same list my game uses?
Our list is built from ENABLE, the open word list many word games start from, so most games accept its words. A game may still leave some out.
Does it know names?
No: proper nouns, abbreviations and words with hyphens or apostrophes are not words in word games, so the checker does not know them.
