One clue at a time
The first clue is shown. Guess the category; if the guess is wrong, the next clue appears.
A wrong guess, a new clue
Each wrong guess reveals another clue, up to five.
One category for all five
The answer is what links all five clues: a group, a phrase they complete, a hidden word.

Pinpoint tips that solve it faster
Read each clue two ways
A word can be a noun, a verb or part of a phrase; the category often uses the less obvious sense.
Try a word before or after
Many categories complete a phrase: things that come before "breaker", or after "fire".
Think of the plain group first
Blood types, wind instruments, James Bond actors: many days the category is a simple list.
Use a guess to learn
A wrong guess costs a clue but shows the next one; a near miss tells you which sense is meant.
