A Christmas puzzle game online, free: a picture sudoku with Christmas trees, snowmen and presents in place of numbers, and every row, column and box needs each of them once. How to solve christmas sudoku

For one empty square, rule out the stocking, the candle and every picture its row, column and box already hold. If one is left, it goes in.
A place for the snowman
Pick one picture, the snowman, and one row. A square is out if its column or box already has a snowman. The one square left is the snowman's.
Snowed under? Hint shows the next square and which picture it takes.
The Christmas pictures
Twenty-four pictures of Christmas, drawn for this game: the tree and the star, the snowman and the reindeer, a stocking by the fireplace, hot cocoa and milk and cookies for Santa. Look-alikes such as the holly and the mistletoe, or the Santa hat and the elf hat, never share a board.

Questions
What is christmas sudoku?
A Christmas sudoku with holiday pictures where the numbers would be. Each row, column and box holds every picture once: four on the 4 × 4, nine on the 9 × 9.
Is it a real sudoku or a colouring game?
A real sudoku. The Christmas pictures stand in for digits, so the bell counts like a 3 and the rule is unchanged. Medium and hard are full 9 × 9 sudokus.
Why are the holly and the mistletoe never together?
Both are green leaves with berries, and at the size of a square they look alike; so do the Santa hat and the elf hat, or the bell and the bauble. The game keeps such pairs apart, so every picture is easy to name.
Is there one solution to each board?
Yes. A board is made when you press a level and kept only if the pictures fit one way.
What if I get stuck?
Press Hint. It lights the next square, names the picture and says why, pointing first to any picture in the wrong square.
