Robot Sudoku
A robot puzzle game online, free: a picture sudoku with robots in place of numbers, and every row, column and box needs each of them once. A 4x4 sudoku on easy, a 9x9 robot factory on medium and hard, a new board each time you press a level, and notes and a hint when a circuit will not close.
How to solve robot sudoku
The last robot on the line
For one empty square, rule out each robot its row, column and box already hold. If only the propeller robot, say, is left, it goes in.
A dock for the rover
Take one robot, the rover, and one row. A square is out if its column or box already has a rover. The one square left is its dock.
System error? Hint shows the next square and which robot fits it.
The robots
Twenty-four robots, invented and drawn for this game, each named after what sets it apart: a wheel, a spring, a claw, a magnet, a propeller or a bulb. Six of them share a box head on a box body, so no two of those ever meet on a board.

Questions
What is robot sudoku?
A sudoku with robots in place of numbers. Every row, column and box holds each robot once: four on the 4 × 4, nine on the 9 × 9.
Is it the same game as sudoku?
Yes. The robots are only symbols; the magnet robot does the job of a 2. Medium and hard are full 9 × 9 sudokus.
Why do the box robot and the claw robot never meet?
Six robots are built on the same box head and box body, the box robot, the spring robot and the claw robot among them. At the size of a square they look alike, so the game puts at most one of them on a board.
Does every robot sudoku have one answer?
Yes. The board is made when you press a level and kept only if the robots fit in one way.
What if I get stuck?
Press Hint. It shows the next square and the robot that goes there, and points first to any robot in the wrong place.
Are there more picture sudokus?
