A sports puzzle game online, free: a picture sudoku with balls and sports gear in place of numbers, and every row, column and box needs each of them once. How to solve sports sudoku
The last player on the bench
For one empty square, rule out the basketball, the whistle and every picture its row, column and box already hold. If one is left, it goes in.
A spot for the trophy
Pick one picture, the trophy, and one row. A square is out if its column or box already has the trophy. The one square left is where it goes.
Need a time-out? Hint shows the next square and which picture fits.
The sports pictures
Twenty-four balls and pieces of sports gear, drawn for this game: balls for soccer, basketball, tennis and golf, a boxing glove and a hockey puck, skis, an ice skate and a surfboard, and a trophy and a medal for the end. Round balls that look alike when small, the soccer ball, the volleyball and the baseball, never share a board.

Questions
What is sports sudoku?
A sudoku with sports balls and gear in place of numbers. Each row, column and box holds every picture once: four on the 4 × 4, nine on the 9 × 9.
Is sports sudoku a real sudoku?
Yes. The gear only stands for digits, so the stopwatch counts like a 9 and the rule is unchanged. Medium and hard are full 9 × 9 sudokus.
Why are the soccer ball and the volleyball never together?
Round, pale and patched, the soccer ball, the volleyball and the baseball look the same at the size of a square, and the trophy looks like the medal. The game keeps them on separate boards, so every picture is easy to name.
Is there only one answer?
Yes. Each match is generated when you press a level, and the game keeps it only if the gear fits in exactly one way.
What if I get stuck?
Press Hint. It lights the next square and names the picture for it, pointing first to any picture in the wrong square.
Are there more picture sudokus?
